Meet Your Coaches: Ange & Marty
We’re Ange and Marty, founders of The A Life and passionate movement coaches dedicated to helping people build strength, mobility, and confidence in their bodies.
Ange is an Osteopath with over 15 years of experience, specializing in movement, rehab, and injury prevention.
Marty brings years of expertise in strength training and functional movement.
Together, we’ve worked with people from all walks of life—especially those who’ve been held back by injuries or fear of getting started. Our approach is all about supporting you where you are, helping you move better, feel stronger, and gain the confidence to do the things you love—without pain or hesitation.
Guided Strength is our way of giving you the structure, accountability, and expert coaching you need to train safely and effectively. We can’t wait to support you on this journey!
FAQ:
Q. Are the classes live? Can I do them at a specific time?
A. The sessions are pre-recorded,so you can take them a time that suits you best. We offer a follow along class or you can follow the written program (even take it to the gym if your prefer).
Q. What weights do I need?
A. You will need access to a pair of upper body weights (eg. 4-8kg) and a pair of lower body weights (8-12kg). We can help you figure our what weights to start with on your first coaching call.
Q. How much time do I have to commit to for this program?
A. The minimum commitment is 2 strength sessions per week. These take about 45 minutes to complete. We also recommend you do the weekly mobility class as a third session.
Q. What if I miss a week or am away for part of the program?
A. As this is a more tailored program we can offer you exercises to do while you are away to keep your progressing. You can still make a huge amount of progress over the 12-weeks just by starting & committing as best you can.
